Angioneogenesis in wound healing of complicated fractures
A successful cross-national cooperation between the biobanks in Pilsen and Regensburg has already been demonstrated in the past through the digital networking (BRoTHER) and the establishment of a joint study module for medical students (eduBRoTHER). In the previous collaborations, both sides were able to benefit from the good ideas and successful partnership, which is why the cooperation is now to be expanded at the research level. The aim of the angioneogenesis research project is to identify decisive biomarkers of impaired wound healing in complicated bone fractures, which in particular represent a major challenge in everyday clinical wound care.
The project is funded by the European Union under the “Ziel ETZ / Interreg V” program.
